Gould, Robert R. II - AK Territorial Guard

Robert Ronald Gould II, Lt., was born 6 Sept 1892, he was the son of Robert I and Irina (Hubley) Gould.  Robert moved to King Cove, Alaska, where he married Molly Kuzakin.  

Robert joined the Alaska Territorial Guard in 1942 to serve in the Aleutian Campaign during World War II.  He was officially discharged 21 Mar 1947.

Robert started working for Pacific American Fisheries about 1911 when PAF build a salmon cannery in King Cove.  He was a respected man who worked hard to keep residents in his community employed.  He moved to Bellingham, Washington, and there he continued to work for PAF at its Bellingham, WA, headquarters.

A hobby in his retirement years was to build model ships.
