Sam Kuzakin, Pvt., was raised in Belkofski where he attended grade school, his parents were Radion and Zoia (Vereskin) Kuzakin. Sam graduated from high school at Chemawa Boarding School in Salem, Oregon. He is married to Helen Totomoff.
Sam joined the U.S. Army in 1968, he did boot camp at Ft. Lewis, WA, and advanced training in New Jeresy. Sam was stationed at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina, he was discharged there in 1971.
After his service Sam continued to live in Ft. Brag, N.C., his occupation was carpentry. In retirement he’s back in Alaska enjoying sport fishing on the Kenai Peninsula during the summers.
