Mack, Leonard - U.S. Navy 

King Cove, Alaska

Leonard Mack was born 8 Mar 1945, his parents were Paul and Fannie (Ferguson) Mack.  He attended Mt. Edgecumbe High school.  Leonard married Susan Molt.

Leonard joined the U.S. Navy 31 Jan 1966, he was stationed on the USS Ranger and served two tours in Vietnam. He was discharged 3 Oct 1969.

Leonard received his pilots license in Portland, Oregon, then worked there with FlightCraft.  In Anchorage, Alaska, he was an air traffic controller at Anchorage Center and International Flight Service at Merrill Field.  He also worked as flight technician with the Federal Aviation Association.  Leonard commercial fished several summers in King Cove. He last worked as a pilot for Peninsula Airways at Cold Bay, Alaska.
