Samuelson, Eugene - U.S Army

King Cove, Alaska

Eugene Samuelson was born 16 Mar 1926, he was the son of Erik Axel and Feckla (Dushkin) Samuelson.  He lived at the Jesse Lee Home and attended school in Seward, Alaska.  During WW II when the Home was closed, he continued his education at Wrangell Institute a boading school in Southeast Alaska.

Eugene joined the U.S. Army 22 Jun 1944, his date of release is unknown.

He was a commercial fisherman in the Aleutian Peninsula Area M.  He owned and captained the FV Aleut Maid.  He was an excellent basketball player.
