Vereskin, Albert - AK Territorial Guard

False Pass, Alaska

Albert William Vereskin, Pvt., was born 3 Jul 1921, his adoptive parents were Antone and Fanny Nozikoff.

Albert joined the Alaska Territorial Guard in 1942 to serve in the Aleutian Campaign during World War II.  He was offically discharged 21 Mar 1947. 

Albert stated on his World War II registration that his place of residence was Morzhovoi Village, Alaska.  At the time he was employed by P. E. Harris & Co at False Pass.   Albert was also a commerical fisherman in Morzhovoi Village.
