Carlson, Dennis - U.S. Army

Sanak Island, Alaska

Dennis Carlson, Pvt., was born in Seward, Alaska, his parents were Carl G. and Marina (Ludvick) Carlson, he lived in Sanak before moving to Sand Point, AK.

Dennis was drafted into the U.S Army Mar 1970, he did boot camp in Ft. Lewis, WA, and combat training in Ft. Knox, KY.  Dennis did one tour of duty in Vietnam, he was stationed at Savanah, GA, before his discharge Jan 1972.  

Dennis has been a lifelong commercial fisherman in the Aleutian Peninsula Area M.  

Status: retired, Going Strong
