Foster, Tom - AK Territorial Guard

Tom Foster was born 4 Jul 1894, his parents were William and Olga Foster.  

Tom joined the Alaska Territorial Guard in 1942 to serve in the Aleutian Campaign during World War II.  He was officially discharged 21 Mar 1947.

Tom lived in Unga until he moved to Kenai, Alaska.  In Kenai, he worked temporary jobs and was a jailor for Marshal Allen Peterson, he remained close to the Peterson family the rest of his life.  His hobby was to whittle model boats, which included sail boats, skiffs and fishing vessels.

Status: deceased, 21 July 1966
